DECIMATION!!! My first movie role!! OXI-MORON FILMS and MIAMI RIVER PRODUCTIONS ITS BEEN THREE YEARS!!! July 10, 2005 The second convention went GREAT! We went to Marcon, and Sherri and I helped Carl with book signings and his seminars! We met a lot of interesting young men too! THAT part was a LOT of fun!! I can't WAIT until the end of September when we go to the Cinema Wasteland Convention again! If we're lucky, we will have a table set up so we can sell our pictures and the new video we are in the process of making. I'm also looking forward to meeting Gail and Nikky! I hear Nikky is a real party girl, well . . . wait until she gets a load of ME!! Strange thing though . . . Carl is worried about Nikky and I getting thrown out of the hotel!! He says that almost happened to Nikky once! Hmmm. Come to think about it, maybe Carl DOES have a right to worry!! lol The next little bit of news I want to tell you about is the addition of my new "Private" section that Carl finally got around to making for my site. That section will hold what I consider a little too . . . "hot" . . . for my main site. If you are interested in the password, E-Mail me at Amanda@carlmerritt.com and I'll give it to you ( if you are very, VERY lucky! lol ). Soon, I'll be charging membership fees to enter that section. That policy will go into affect as soon as there is enough "sultry" stuff in that section to make it worthwhile to the members. May 8, 2005 The first convention while working as a promo model for CarlMerritt.com went very well. It was called "Cinema Wasteland" and it was located in Cleveland, Ohio. The main purpose of going to the convention was to sell at least one of the Abe's Tomb stories to a movie producer. Well, we sold two just to be safe. Sherri and I had a lot of fun meeting all the guys, and just about all of them are E-Mailing us in hopes of meeting up again sometime. We also met a lot of movie stars, and they were some of the nicest people we've ever met. Our next convention is the Marcon, a HUGE gathering of science fiction enthusiasts from all over the United States. It will be held May 27th, 28th and the 29th. The purpose of the promo models at this convention will be to assist Carl Merritt with all of his seminars, book signings and meetings . . . oh, yes! . . . he is telling us it is also mandatory for me and Sherri to have fun. (That part will be easy with all the guys sure to be chasing us around all weekend!) Keep checking back. Plans for this site in the future include some very special features, including a "Private" section . . . you know . . . a little something special for the guys we meet at the cons! lol |
